At Surviving to Thriving PLLC, my goal is to help you move from just surviving to thriving in a life you love.
If you’re here, you’ve likely carried the weight of trauma while showing up for life as if nothing’s wrong. You’ve learned how to survive: to stay productive, stay calm, and put your own needs last. But now you’re wondering... What would it be like to feel safe enough to just be?
Whether you're navigating a difficult relationship, feeling overwhelmed by emotional and mental load, or stuck in patterns of burnout, therapy with me is a place to exhale, be seen, and begin again.I specialize in supporting people who carry the cognitive and emotional weight of trauma beneath the surface of everyday life. Together, we process complex trauma, explore what’s been buried in survival mode, and reclaim space for your voice, your needs, and your healing.
I believe you already have the power to build a life you love. Sometimes all you need is knowledge, insight, and someone in your corner who finally sees the weight you’ve been carrying — even if no one else ever has.
Welcome to the beginning of therapy. Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're returning to it, this is a space where your experience matters — and where your voice, needs, and emotions are welcome. You will have a private space to wonder out loud and make connections between your past, present and important relationships.
If you’re new to therapy, it’s natural to have questions or doubts. You may have heard messages like “It means something is wrong with you” or “Just push through and you’ll be fine.” The truth is, there’s nothing wrong with you — there’s just something in you that deserves attention, care, and space to breathe. Avoiding pain doesn’t make it disappear; it often just makes it heavier to carry alone.
Therapy offers a place to speak freely, reflect on patterns, and reconnect the pieces of your past, present, and relationships. It’s a space where you might cry, laugh, sit in silence, or feel messy and still be met with compassion. You may leave some sessions feeling lighter and others feeling uncertain — both are part of the process. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to show up.
If you’ve been in therapy before, welcome back. You may have a clearer sense of what you need or what hasn’t worked in the past. I want to honor those experiences — the helpful and the hard — and build on what served you while repairing what didn’t.
No matter where you're starting from, I’m here to walk alongside you. This work isn’t about fixing you — it’s about making space for your truth, your healing, and your thriving.
